About the Doctor....
Dr. Nick Nicholson is board certified in General Surgery and is an expert in LAP-BAND, Gastric Bypass, Sleeve Gastrectomy and Revisional Bariatric Surgery. His clinic also provides support from an entire staff of dieticians, physical, and mental health professionals to help patients achieve their weight loss goals. Dr. Nicholson performs one-on-one consultation as different procedures achieve better results with different patients.
Dr. Nicholson is a member of the American Medical Association, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscope Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Nicholson is affiliated with the Forest Park Medical Center and the American Society of Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence. He has also been voted D Magazine’s Top Bariatric Doctor five years in a row.
Dr. Nicholson recieved his MD from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and his Medical Residency at UT Southwestern at Parkland Hospital.
