About the Doctor...
Dr. Bob Peters is a board certified Otologist at the Dallas Ear Institute. His practice focuses on the treatment of hearing loss and ear disorders in both children and adults including cochlear implantation, acoustic neuromas, facial nerve disorders and Meniere’s Disease. Dr. Peters is the founder and president of the Dallas Hearing Foundation, a non-profit organization that has helped secure funding to perform cochlear implant surgery on patients in 12 different countries.
Dr. Peters holds memberships in the American Academy of Otolarynology/Head and Neck Surgery, the American Neurotologic Society,Triologic Society, Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society. He is also a member of the Surgeon’s Advisory Board for Med-El Corporation and serves as a speaker and consultant for Cochlear Corporation. Dr. Peters is an associate clinical professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and serves as the medical director of North Texas ENT Associates.
Dr. Peters began his education at North Texas State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He received his M.D. at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Glaveston. He continued at UTMB where he served his internship in General Surgery, residency in Otolarynology and his fellowship in Otology/Neurotology.
