Dr. Barbara Baxter, M.D. is an allergy, asthma and immunology specialist. Procedures performed at her office include seasonal flu shots, immunizations, blood tests, Xoliar injections for severe asthma, IVIG Infusion therapy for immune deficiency and many more. Dr. Baxter is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Allergy-Immunology and practices in the North Dallas area.
Dr. Baxter is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology. She is also a Clinical Associate Professor at UT Southwestern Medical College, founder and Medical Director of Grace United Methodist Church Agape Clinic, a free clinic in East Dallas. She serves on the board of Los Barrios Unidos Community Clinic, a free clinic in West Dallas. Dr. Baxter is a member of the Genesis Physicians Group, Southweset Physicians Associates, the American Medical Association, The Texas Medical Assocation, the Tdallas County Medical Society and the Texas Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society. As a result, she received the Freedoms Foundations at AValley Forge Medal, the JCPenny Golden Rule Award and the Dallas County Medical Society Auxiliary’s Aesculapius Award.
Dr. Baxter received a Bachelor of Arts from Smith College of Northampton, Massachusetts and her M.D> from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, NY.
